Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Dr. Ta moved to the United States with his family when he was ten. He attended the University of Los Angeles for his undergraduate studies. Dr. Ta spent a year working as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) before transitioning to medical school. He graduated with his Doctor of Medicine at Albany Medical College in New York. Dr. Ta completed six years of an Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency at Maine Medical Center. His clinical interests include peripheral arterial disease, providing comprehensive treatment using the most advanced and up-to-date open bypass, complex minimally invasive endovascular techniques, and aortoiliac pathologies, including aneurysm, dissection, and atherosclerosis.“As a provider, my job is to provide excellent and comprehensive vascular surgery and care while saving and improving my patients' lives.”When not seeing patients, Dr. Ta enjoys bodybuilding and fitness, cruising through the mountains, visiting local restaurants and wineries, and traveling internationally.
